Several ”That 70s Show’ Main Cast Members Set To Appear In Netflix’s ”That 90s Show’

All but one primary cast member from 'That '70s Show' will appear on the upcoming Netflix series starring show alums Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp.

After the hit series That ’70s Show ended its eight-season run in 2006, people were left with questions and anger over the aftermath of the characters. Fans had always wanted to know if Eric and Donna got married, why Hyde and Jackie didn’t end up together, and what is Fez’s real name.

Well, Netflix’s upcoming spin-off series That ’90s Show will provide some answers! Media sources are now confirming that all but one central cast member will reprise their roles on the show. The show will star Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp, who are reprising their roles of Red and Kitty Foreman. Other prominent cast members appearing include Topher Grace (Eric), Laura Prepon (Donna), Ashton Kutcher (Kelso), Mila Kunis (Jackie), and Wilmer Valderrama (Fez).

As of this publication, it is unknown how many episodes the characters will be on. However, many of them have shown their excitement through social media. Grace recently posted a photo of him wearing a Point Place t-shirt with the caption “Yup, still fits.” Valderrama joined in on the fun and posted a video of him putting on one of his character’s outfits, with the song “I Will Survive” playing in the background. Like Grace, the actor added in his caption, “Yup, still fits..”

The Plot For The Upcoming Series Already Answered A Major Question… Sort Of

That ’90s Show centers around Leia Forman, the daughter of Eric Foreman and Donna Pinciotti. Due to this, it is likely that Eric and Donna did get married, and that their daughter was named after Princess Leia from Star Wars, the hit film series Eric loved. Although the pair did get married, it leads to another question, “Are the couple still married?”

The relationship between Eric and Donna was a big part of That ’70s Show until Grace left the series after season seven. However, the couple rekindled their relationship in the series finale, which many fans were not surprised about. The characters were always thought to be endgame, with Donna always being referred to as “the girl next door.” So, even though it’s not confirmed that the two of them are still married, it’s likely that they are.

One Notable Cast Member Will Not Be Appearing On The Series

Unfortunately, fan-favorite character Steven Hyde (Danny Masterson) will not be appearing on the show. After being accused of multiple rapes in 2017, the actor was fired from The Ranch, and dropped by United Talent Agency. After this, Masterson chose to retire from acting, and has maintained an active social media presence ever since.

Even though his acting days are behind him, he has continued to support his former co-stars, even posting birthday tributes to Kutcher and Valderrama. He’s also shown support for the new series in an Instagram photo, saying, “This is literally the dopest thing I’ve heard in a decade.” He also confirmed that the same creators, writers, and producers from the original show were on board, and that he’s excited to watch and laugh.

That ’90s Show has not received a release date as of this publication. It has been given a ten-episode order and will take place in the summer of 1995. There is no word on whether the former characters Bob Pinciotti (Don Stark), Randy Pearson (Josh Meyers), and Leo (Tommy Chong) will also reprise their roles. Actresses Lisa Robin Kelly (Laurie Forman) and Tanya Roberts (Midge Pinciotti) have since passed away, but their characters could possibly be mentioned.
