Only Fools And Horses aired its final episode in 2003 after building a reputation for its crowd-pleasing Christmas programs and becoming a family favourite in households across the UK and Ireland. The wholesome show has eighteen holiday-themed specials in total, with its final one airing on 25 December 2003 as the third and final part of its early 2000s Christmas trilogy. Sir David has remained unapologetically proud of his character, Derek ‘Del Boy’ Trotter, regularly attending Only Fools And Horses conventions despite its cancellation. He has also written The Twelve Dels of Christmas, a book which spills all the behind-the-scenes gossip and heartwarming tales from the show’s festive specials.
