Topher Grace Revealed He Lived A Different Life To Danny Masterson During Their Time On That ’70s Show

Topher Grace shared his thoughts on the differences between himself and Danny Masterson once That '70s Show ended a day of shooting.

That ’90s Show made its debut, and it was met with positivity by the fans. Several of the former cast returned, however, there was a noticeable omission, and that was Danny Masterson. The actor briefly spoke about his excitement for the show, especially given that Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith were major players in the reboot. However, it seems highly unlikely that he’ll ever return to Hollywood, let alone for this project.

In the recent days, Danny Masterson’s life took a huge twist as he was found guilty of two of the three counts he was facing. We’ll take a closer look at the verdict, while revealing what some of his cast members had to say throughout the allegations.

Topher Grace spoke about his experience alongside Masterson, admitting the two lived different lives off the set of That ’70s Show.

As for his other co-stars, we’ll also reveal what Ashton Kutcher recently said about Masterson, and whether or not the two are still in touch.

For the victims and Danny Masterson, the trial is finally a thing of the past as a verdict was reached finding Danny Masterson guilty on two of the three counts. The district attorney issued a statement on the resolution.

“We want to express our gratitude to the three women who came forward and bravely shared their experiences. Their courage and strength have been an inspiration to us all,” District Attorney Gascón said. “While we are disappointed that the jury did not convict on all counts, we respect their decision.”

Masterson’s team did not issue a statement with CNN, while the opposition felt relief over the case finally coming to an end after several years of stress.

“I am experiencing a complex array of emotions – relief, exhaustion, strength, sadness – knowing that my abuser, Danny Masterson, will face accountability for his criminal behavior,” Jane Doe 2 said to CNN in a statement through their representative.

Throughout the court case, Masterson’s That ’70s Show co-stars haven’t said much. Though Topher Grace did briefly touch on what his past was like alongside the actor.

Topher Grace was very honest when discussing his time alongside Danny Masterson on That ’70s Show. Although Topher didn’t see any foul play from the actor, he admits they lived very different lives during the show.

While Masterson typically enjoyed a night out with others from the cast after shooting, Grace instead would call it a day and head home, living more of an introverted life.

Grace revealed, “You know, I hesitate to say that I never saw any of that behavior because I feel like it sounds like I’m defending him,” he admits, “but the truth is I never saw any of that stuff. I was, of that cast, the most boring. So when it came to going out after the show and partying, I just was boring.”

During his interview with Esquire, Ashton Kutcher made it clear he wanted Masterson’s charge to be dropped. However, the actor is well aware he’ll never really know the truth as to what took place.

“Ultimately, I can’t know,” Kutcher said about the outcome of Masterson’s trial. “I’m not the judge. I’m not the jury. I’m not the DA. I’m not the victim. And I’m not the accused. And so, in that case, I don’t have a space to comment. I just don’t know.”

Kutcher has praised Masterson in the past, calling him a leader on That ’70s Show behind the scenes, and the one that tried to keep everyone level-headed.

“He’s like, ‘One rule: Don’t do anything stupid and **** this up. Because if you **** it up, you **** it up for everybody,’”

Kutcher continues in a different interview, “Do you know what Danny does incredibly well is he doesn’t hold back punches, and when he throws, he throws it straight at you. And you see it coming, and it hits you anyway.”

Looking at the situation, Kutcher mostly feels sorry for Masterson’s daughter, who will grow up learning about what went down with her dad, given that it’ll be plastered all over the media.

“Someday, his kid is going to read about this. I wholesale feel for anybody who feels like they were violated in any way.”

Kutcher must be overcome with emotions given that his close friend was recently found guilty of two counts.
