The year 2024 will be a milestone one for Sturm, Ruger & Co. It will mark 75 years that the company has been producing, as it states, “rugged, reliable firearms.” To celebrate, Ruger will be producing special editions of three of its most popular models — the 10/22 Sporter, Mark IV Standard and LCP MAX.
The Ruger Mark IV Standard 75th Anniversary Model combines the modern features of the Mark IV variant with classic styling of the original Standard model.
The first two models are both iconic and long-standing Ruger products. The Ruger “Standard” family of .22 rimfire semi-automatic pistols is how the company got its start in 1949. Since then, the Standard has become the most successful .22 semi-automatic pistol ever made and has gone through several iterations and is currently on the Mark IV version.
The Ruger Mark IV Standard 75th Anniversary Model has an anniversary logo etched into its bolt and receiver.
While it has all the modern features of a Mark IV, the anniversary edition pistol honors the styling of the original Ruger Standard with a cold hammer-forged 6.88” tapered target barrel and checkered-laminate walnut grips with the classic black “phoenix rising” logo. To cap its special treatment, the pistol has a laser-etched 75th anniversary logo on both the receiver and the back of bolt and is shipped in a “throwback-style” 75th Anniversary printed box. The Ruger Mark IV Standard 75th Anniversary Model has a MSRP of $599.

Introduced in 1964 as a companion to Ruger’s 44 Carbine, the 10/22 rifle is not only one of Ruger’s most popular products, it is one of the most popular .22 rifles ever made, with about eight million produced to date. In the 60 years since, not only had it been made in numerous variants, the rifle’s basic design and its 10-round, rotary box magazine have become an industry standard in themselves.

The 75th Anniversary Model of the 10/22 is in “Sporter” configuration, with its checkered hardwood stock, slim recoil pad and fixed sling swivels. An 18.5” stainless steel, cold hammer-forged barrel is mated to a satin-finished alloy receiver. Sights are the classic gold bead front and adjustable folding leaf rear. The rifle is offered in two configurations. One has a walnut-stained hardwood stock, while the second has a natural finish with black checkering. Both feature a laser-etched 75th Anniversary logo on their bolt and are shipped in a 75th Anniversary printed box. The Ruger 10/22 75th Anniversary Model has a MSRP of $399 with either stock option.

Ruger is using the MAX version of the company’s LCP as its 75th Anniversary Model.
The LCP MAX falls into the “modern classic” category of Ruger products. While the original LCP was only introduced in 2008, it quickly became one of the most popular .380 ACP handguns on the market and led to the LCP II and LCP MAX models.
The Ruger LCP MAX 75th Anniversary Model has a laser etched logo on its slide, which has a matte top finish with polished sides.
The Ruger used its 10-round capacity MAX model for the company’s 75th Anniversary LCP. Its stainless-steel slide has its sides polished and its top surface given a matte finish and has a silver anodized aluminum trigger. To complete its unique appearance, a 75th Anniversary logo is etched into the top of its slide. It ships in a 75th Anniversary printed box.
