Inside incredible story of real life Del Boy who found NATURAL SPRING in his garden like Only Fools and Horses episode
A father discovered a natural water source in his garden which was turned into a business backed by Steven Gerrard.
Merseyside businessman Mark Doyle bought a house in the countryside and chatted to a local farmer who told him about a historic spring at the foot of his garden in Mawdsley, West Lancashire.
Determined to find the water source, Mark began digging.
When he thought he had found the water, he brought in an excavator to find the source.
Finally, Mark found a hard stone slab with water bubbling from it. An angel-like emblem was sculpted into the stone, which inspired the company’s name, Angel Revive.
Mark, already a successful businessman, invested around £1 million in setting up a production system to extract the water and then bottle it.
Mark, an avid Liverpool fan, approached the club’s former captain Steven Gerrard to come on board and the football legend agreed.
Steven found the time to promote the product while also managing Rangers FC and gave the water company a loan worth £371,524.
Mark was also a huge boxing fan and took a group of colleagues and friends to New York to watch Liverpool fighter Rocky Fielding take on Mexican sensation Canelo Alvaraz in December
2018.
The company sent Rocky a good luck message just before he faced Alvaraz at Madison Square Garden.
The message read: “I wish @rocky_fielding the best of luck tonight, the whole world must be behind him.”
He’s taking on one of the best fighters in the world tonight.
The company also sent a congratulatory message to Liverpool fighter Tony Bellew ahead of his fight with Alexander Usyk.
The message read: “Good luck to @tonybellew in his fight against Alexander Usyk for the undisputed cruiserweight title.”
World champion next week.
Other big names like Eddie Hearn and Derek Chisora also posed for photos in support of Angel Revive.
Steven’s former teammate Jamie Carragher also helped plug the drink, which is said to be high in bases.
In October 2019, Angel Revive won an award at a glittering event at the Hilton Hotel in Liverpool.
Alex Gerrard accepted the award on behalf of her husband Steven, who delivered a video message to the audience.
After buying the house in Mawdsley, West Lancashire, Mark spent a fortune converting the detached property into a dream seven-bedroom villa.
The highlight is a leisure complex with a large swimming pool
16m x 7m. The sizeable property is now for sale with an asking price of £3.5 million.
A former visitor to the house told The Sun: “The pool is amazing. It just keeps going.”
The complex has a sauna cabin, a steam room, a rain shower, a gym and a games room.
The main house features a large open kitchen, seven bedrooms and a formal dining room for special occasions. There is a home theater room on the third floor.
The house sits on 9 acres of land with a private lake, pond, lawns, stables and paddock.
