Jack Black Was Actually Infatuated With Muscular Dwayne Johnson in 2017 Movie That Revived a $2 Billion Franchise

And in this case, the grown man is the fan-favorite Jack Black, who wasn’t able to get over Johnson’s muscular figure during their time together working on Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.

Following The Rock’s weird attachment with Jungles, 2017’s Jumanji isn’t only one of his best movies but was also able to revive the franchise after the 1995’s Jumanji, starring Robin Williams. Among all the qualities that made the 2017 entry so memorable and successful, the funniest one was Jack Black’s performance as a 16-year-old Bethany trapped in the body of Professor Shelly Oberon. But among all of the hilarious sequences involving the character of Jack Black, one of the scenes witnessed his character being fascinated after witnessing Dwayne Johnson’s godly physique.

However, the Bowser star jokingly revealed that his character wasn’t acting in that scene, as he was actually infatuated with Dwayne Johnson’s physique, and the cameras just kept on rolling. But Jack Black’s admiration for his Jumanji costar wasn’t only limited to Johnson’s figure, as the actor also brushed away the rumors of the WWE Superstar bearing a huge ego.

Jack Black also debunked the rumors surrounding the actor bearing an ego bigger than his muscles and claimed that it cannot be further from the truth, as they developed a magical bond during their time together. He said,

“You would think that egos would collide, but nothing could be further from the truth. Dwayne ‘The Rock Johnson and I shared a magical bond. We didn’t need words, we just exchanged energy. Eye contact turned into a soul-searching industrial complex of exchange.”
