Actors who have made small cameos in beloved soaps are often easy to spot when they go onto star in other shows.

This has been the case for former EastEnders star Gerry Cowper, 63, who is best known for playing fiery mother Rosie Miller on the popular BBC soap.

She was part of the iconic Miller family comprising of Keith, Rosie, Mickey, Darren and Demi from 2004 up until her exit in 2006.

When the Miller family arrived on the square, they were immediately branded unruly and received anything but a warm welcome from their neighbours.

However, fans quickly grew fond of them as characters, even though the rest of the square hadn’t, and Gerry has been praised for her portrayal of Rosie.

But do you remember Gerry from her previous role on the hit show Only fools and Horses?

She may have only been in two episodes, ‘Tea for Three’ and ‘The Frog’s Legacy’ appearing on the programme as Trigger’s young niece but she made quite the impact.

In ‘Tea for Three’, Lisa, was seen staying with her uncle for a while, and the scruffy young girl that Del and Rodney remember has now become a stunning older women.

Both Trotter brothers thinking that they are in with a chance, immediately begin competing for Lisa’s affections.

A year later after that episode, her character is re-introduced in ‘The Frog’s legacy’ were Rodney, Del Boy and Albert attended her wedding in Hampshire.

Eventually, in 2004 she traded south of the Thames for East London, where she took on the role of troubled Rosie Miller in EastEnders.

Before then, she had a minor role on EastEnders playing Matt Lindsay’s mother, Anne Lindsay in 2002.

She appeared as two different characters in Casualty – Lorraine Wells in 2015 and Eileen Price in 2002 – as well as playing a whole range of minor characters in The Bill between 1988 and 2000.
