Dine another day! Former Bond Pierce Brosnan, 68, and wife Keely Shaye Smith, 58, leave restaurant hand-in-hand after Valentine’s dinner date

Pierce Brosnan and his wife Keely Shaye Smith put on a cosy display as they left a Santa Monica restaurant hand-in-hand after a Valentine’s Day dinner date on Monday.

Former James Bond actor Pierce, 68, dressed in smart but casual attire, opting for a navy blue pair of trousers and a dark coat while he had a paisley scarf wrapped around his neck.

Keely, 58, looked stylish in a silky maxi dress with a floral print, with the garment featuring a plunging neckline. 

She cinched in her dress with a tasseled belt and wore a pair of sandals for the couple’s evening out at local restaurant Giorgio Baldi.

Pierce completed his look by wearing a pair of black pair of shoes and the couple both wore face coverings in a bid to keep themselves and others safe from coronavirus. 

Screen star Pierce carried information about the Black American Portraits exhibition at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in his hand.

Earlier in the evening he took to Instagram to share a picture of Keely as she posed with a bunch of yellow sunflowers at Los Angeles’ Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit in front of a self-portrait of the artist.

Pierce captioned his post: ‘A beautiful St. Valentine’s Day with my love @keelyshayebrosnan at the Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit.’

Pierce, who exchanged vows with Keely in his native Ireland in August of 2001, took to Instagram this past summer with a touching tribute to his spouse of two decades.

‘Happy anniversary my darling Keely, my love forever grows with you…’ the actor wrote, adding emojis of a clover and a heart.

In September, he wrote a touching post to his wife in celebrating her 58th birthday: ‘My beautiful luscious love Keely on her 58th trip around the sun yesterday …apres swim, making coconut water … Happiest of birthdays it was!’

In April 2017 Pierce opened up to People about how the pair enjoy one another’s company.

‘My wife and I took a short road trip up to Santa Barbara – we were going for a romantic weekend and to look at houses and drink great wine,’ he said. 

‘We didn’t listen to any music, but we just listened to the sounds of each other’s voices and sorted out the world.’

The couple are parents to sons Dylan, 25, Paris, 20.
