Who Was Allison Munn Before Appearing On That 70s Show?

Allison Munn got her first professional acting gig when she was fresh out of college and she landed a role in the off-Broadway musical production of the musical The Fantasticks. Following this opportunity, Munn landed several other stage roles.

From 1999 to 2000, Munn landed some small guest roles in TV shows such as Now and AgainLaw & Order: Special Victims Unit, and 2gether: The Series. But, all in all, Munn was waiting for her big break when she had the opportunity to audition for a small role in the popular sitcom, That 70s Show.

Allison Munn Played Caroline, Fez’s Girlfriend, On Two Seasons Of That 70s Show

In 2001, Allison Munn got the chance to play Caroline Dupree, Fez’s girlfriend, in That 70s Show’s third season. Caroline was first introduced to the show in the episode titled “Fez Gets the Girl.” Initially, Caroline is too nervous to talk to Fez, but Donna (Laura Prepon) steps in and sets the pair up on a date.

A few episodes later, Fez and Caroline start dating and fans get to see a glimpse of her true personality. After a few outbursts of anger, Fez decides to break up with Caroline, which then leads to her starting to stalk him. As a last resort, Fez decides to pretend to be dating Donna. After that, we don’t get to see any more of Caroline until she comes back on the show’s last season.

After That 70s Show, Allison Munn’s Career Took A Turn For The Best

Although she only appeared on eight episodes of That 70s Show, Allison Munn’s career resulted benefited from playing Caroline on this popular sitcom.

Soon after her That 70s Show performance, Munn landed some small roles in movies like White Oleander (2002) and in the romantic comedy Elizabethtown (2005) opposite Orlando Bloom and Kirsten Dunst.

Then in 2003, Munn landed the role of Tina Haven in the WB sitcom What I Like About You, starring alongside Amanda Bynes and Jennie Garth. Munn remained on the show until it ended in 2006. Munn also had a recurring role in the popular drama One Tree Hill from 2009 to 2012.

According to IMDb, this actress has more than 35 acting credits under her belt. Her most recent projects include a leading role in the Nickelodeon series Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn (2014-2018) and a main role in Netflix’s The Big Show Show (2020).
