Mitch (Robin Williams) convinces his grandson to lay out bourbon and asparagus for Santa Clause in the first clip from Merry Friggin’ Christmas, one of four movies Robin Williams completed before his untimely death this past week. In the holiday comedy, Joel McHale stars as Boyd Mitchler, who takes his family, including wife Luann (Lauren Graham), to spend the holidays with his eccentric father Mitch. Once at Mitch’s house, they realize they’ve left all the presents back at home. Boyd and Mitch climb back in the car to attempt the 8-hour round trip before sunrise.

Merry Friggin’ Christmas follows Boyd Mitchler (Joel McHale) and his wife Luann (Lauren Graham) as they spend a dreaded Chrismas with Boyd’s father Mitch (Robin Williams) and his family of misfits. Upon realizing that he has left all of his son’s gifts at home, Boyd hits the road with his father and younger brother in an attempt to make the 8-hour round trip before sunrise.

Merry Friggin’ Christmas is one of four movies Robin Williams completed before passing away. The other upcoming movies include Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, in theaters this Christmas, Boulevard and Absolutely Anything, an animated adventure where he voices Simon Pegg’s dog.
