It turns out, Williams actually suffered from Lewy Body Dementia along with 1.3 million other Americans. This sparked candid conversations about mental health among celebrities. Chris Meloni and Owen Wilson have since added to those conversations.

From “Aladdin” and “Flubber” to more serious roles like “Dead Poets Society” and “Good Will Hunting,” his range was more than impressive. Jamie Costa Tackles Emotional Robin Williams Scene

The “ROBIN Screen Test” already surpassed 3 million views since its initial release on October 11th. Catch it here:

The clip shows Jamie Costa put on Robin Williams’ personality. Jake Lewis takes on editing and directing for the clip as Costa portrays Williams from the set of the ’80s “Mork and Mindy.” It explores the moment his costar Pam Dawber (portrayed by Sarah Murphree) reveals the news of John Belushi’s death to Williams.

Now, Belushi was a dear friend of Robin Williams and the two had seen each other just hours before news of Belushi’s death broke. A drug overdose led to his life being cut tragically short at the age of 33 in Los Angeles. “No, I told you, I was with him. John’s not dead, I was with him last night,” emotionally delivers Costa as Williams. The scene then shows how Costa’s Williams must compose himself after the news to get back to work delivering lines.

The scene struck a chord with fans globally, even sending the clip trending for multiple days in a row. It also sparked murmurs of a potential Robin Williams biopic in the future. What do you think? See the resemblance?
