Only Fools and Horses fans furious BBC isn’t showing any old episodes on Christmas Day

Apart from exchanging presents and eating too much food, the BBC’s television schedule is one exciting part of Christmas Day.

There’s family movies, Top of the Tops, The Queen’s Speech and of course hilarious festive specials of your favourite programmes.

Who doesn’t love sitting down with a nice drink to relax in front of the TV after eating their turkey?

Anyway, the official BBC Press Office has tweeted their confirmed schedule for December 25.

It of course includes the highly anticipated return of Gavin and Stacey followed by an explosive hour long episode of EastEnders .

But not everyone is happy about the programme line-up.

There doesn’t appear to be a single episode of Only Fools and Horses broadcasting on BBC One on Christmas Day and fans of the sitcom are outraged.

The show tends to makes an appearance and some Only Fools fans have taken to Twitter to express their dissapointment.

One Only Fools fan said: “Years ago we had Morecome and Wise or Only Fools and Horses at Christmas. Now we have Gavin and Stacey Christmas special. How things have gone downhill fast at Christmas.”

A second stated: “@TalkRoberto I didn’t know what time the Queen’s speech was on Rob. Couldn’t care less either. The important Xmas-day TV event when I was growing up was Only Fools and Horses.”

A third added: “Bring back only fools and horses gotta be better than all that.”

“Where is Only Fools and Horses!!???”, demanded another disappointed fan.

“Where is the repeat of an episode of Only Fools and Horses”, questioned another.
