Robin Williams’ ashes were ‘scattered near his home in San Francisco Bay’ a day after his death

THE star's death certificate shows his ashes were scattered near his home in San Francisco Bay - he lived there for almost 50 years.

ROBIN Williams’ ashes were reportedly scattered a day after he died near his home San Francisco Bay.

The tragic actor’s death certificate shows what happened to his remains and states the cause of death is still “pending investigation”, although it is thought he committed suicide.

The document from the State of California states a ceremony for the star, 63, was held on August 12, the day after his death and his ashes were scattered “in San Francisco Bay off the coast of Marin County.” He had lived in the area for almost 50 years.

According to Radar Online, the death certificate also claims the funeral took place at Monte’s Chapel Of The Hills in San Anselmo.

Robin died on August 11 at his home in nearby Paradise Cay and a chief deputy coroner later confirmed he had hanged himself .

The Hook actor left behind his third wife, Susan Schneider, and his three children, Zelda, Zachary and Cody.

Meanwhile, a source close to the Oscar winner claims his suicide was spontaneous and had not been planned out, because he was discussing several upcoming projects the day beforehand.

The friend told TMZ that Robin, who had also been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, had been “completely engaged in the conversation” and was asking plenty of questions about the deals.
