Only Fools and Horses star issues cruel update on cancer battle and says ‘it’s unacceptable’

A BBC Only Fools and Horses star has said he has “given up” amid his cancer fight. Only Fools and Horses star Patrick Murray, who is undergoing treatment for cancer, said it was “unacceptable” in a tough update with fans after spending 10 hours in A&E

“Ten hours waiting in A&E is unacceptable. I gave up and went home. The workers are wonderful, but the system is seriously flawed. The NHS needs fixing, not hollow promises,” the BBC actor wrote. A troll replied: “If you’re well enough to give up and go home maybe you didn’t need to be there in the first place.”

“Is that so . Are you for real ? Troll,” fired back the sitcom star. David said: “On several occasions last year I sat in the waiting room at Croydon University hospital for over 12 hours, the staff were overwhelmed and all looked exhausted.” Paul said: “It’s ridiculous, 80%of people could be dealt with by nurses and triage but you have to wait for a doctor and all you see is nurses walking about carrying pieces of paper.”

“Im sorry to hear this the nhs is broken I’m afraid a nurse of 27 years it’s so hard to say but it is hope your ok maybe try community services Gp sending hugs xx,” said Jo. David said: “Hope you feel better soon Patrick. Totally agree the service is on its knees with fab staff doing their best.”
