That '70s Show

This That ’70s Show Star Looks Completely Unrecognizable Today

Sitcoms need a number of things working in order to get off the ground and really take off. They need great characters, memorable moments, and the right cast that brings its best writing to life in each episode. Shows like Friends and The Office are great examples of what happens when a show gets all of the ingredients right.

Josh Meyers was a late addition to That ’70s Show, but he did his best to make the most out of his time on the show. Meyers has done a lot since playing Randy, and people want to know what he’s looking like these days.

Let’s take a closer look at the hit show and how Meyers looks today.

‘That ’70s Show’ Was A Major Success

The 1990s was a decade that had no shortage of fantastic sitcoms, and as the decade was coming to an end, networks knew that they needed to end things with a bang to usher in the new millennium in style. For Fox, this meant bringing That ’70s Show to life.

The series, which debuted in 1998, featured a plethora of young talent who was seemingly destined to be in the spotlight. While they may not have had a wealth of experience, each person took on their role and made the most of it each week. This is ultimately what helped the show come to life in a way that fans could not get enough of.

For the better part of its eight seasons and 200 episodes, the series was doing all the little things right. Because of this, its fans stuck around and helped it thrive.

Things were rolling along nicely for the show, but eventually, Topher Grace departed, which caused a huge change. This led to the show bringing on a fresh face, who was put in the worst position possible in what was no fault of his own.

In what would be the final season of That ’70s Show, Josh Meyers was brought in to play the character Randy, and to say that the fans did not give the character the warmest welcome would be a pretty big understatement. No, Randy was not the best character around, but fans of the show were pretty harsh towards him.

Interestingly, there has been a divide as to whether or not the character suffered from the writing or from the acting. Regardless of how fans feel about it, there is no denying that Randy became more of an infamous figure on the show than anything. Unfortunately, Josh Meyers was the one that was caught in the crosshairs, as he was responsible for playing the character each week.

Eventually, the hit show would come to an end, and with Eric making a brief return, all seemed normal for at least a moment. It must have been a relief for Meyers to wrap up his time on the series after all of the flack that his character took.

It has been years since Josh Meyers was playing Randy on That ’70s Show, and people have grown curious about what the actor looks like today.

What He Looks Like Today

These days, Josh Meyers looks a lot different than he did while he was playing Randy on That ’70s Show. The comedic performer has certainly aged well, and fans are always excited to see him when he makes a guest appearance on his brother’s show.

While he may not be the most prolific comedic actor around, Josh Meyers still finds a way to make audiences laugh, especially when he is giving his take on California governor, Gavin Newsom.

Earlier in 2021, Meyers made headlines with his Newsom impression, which was all about the politician doing a victory lap after reopening the state.

As Vulture noted, “Josh Meyers (Seth’s bro!) reprised his impression of California Governor Gavin Newsom on Late Night with Seth Meyers to comment on California’s reopening. Yesterday, Newsom announced the state’s full reopening at Universal Studios Hollywood, with the help of Optimus Prime, a velociraptor puppet, and that troll from Trolls that farts glitter.”

Seth may be the one with his own show, but there is no denying that Josh is always able to strike gold with his comedy whenever he makes an appearance. As such, it is easy to see why fans love when the brothers are able to work together.

It’s been years since Josh Meyers’ time on That ’70s Show, and he still looks great.
