These days, Elizabeth Olsen is a highly sought-after actress, revered for her role as Wanda in the Marvel franchise. But not that long ago, she was a relative nobody, especially because her sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley were taking up all the spotlight.

To be fair, Elizabeth Olsen may not have even been meeting her idol when photos were snapped of her absolutely freaking out. She happened to know that he was nearby, likely caught a glimpse of him, and immediately the waterworks started.
Totally relatable, of course, if you’re an average layperson who’s just a fan. But for Elizabeth, who’s always rubbing elbows with big names in her role as Wanda (and in other projects on her acting resume), it was especially intriguing.

Mark Hamill, Luke Skywalker himself, pushed Elizabeth Olsen to tears just by walking into a function she was at. What’s really hilarious is that Hamill was attending the ‘Captain America: Civil War’ premiere. Ya know, the movie in which Elizabeth herself has a significant role?
But one look at Hamill and Olsen lost it, which fans found absolutely adorable. Hamill himself had a pretty hilarious reaction to her meltdown, too. Or maybe that had more to do with the fan misspelling Hamill’s name than it did Elizabeth’s reaction to seeing him.

Luckily for Elizabeth, she wound up getting a photo snapped with Mark, which probably made her entire career. Imagine working so hard to make a name apart from the Olsen twins‘, just to wind up at an event with a historic actor who’s always been worlds apart from ‘average’ folks?
What’s especially great about this moment was that Mark didn’t take himself too seriously. He even trolls himself on social media, that’s how humble the guy is. So while Elizabeth’s reaction was totally relatable, it seems like Mark was pretty chill about meeting her in person.
